Responsibilities

Collaborate with sourcing managers to develop risk mitigation strategies that are aligned with the overall sourcing strategy
Perform strategic sourcing analytics, including spend analysis, market research, and supplier performance analysis, integrating financial risk as a key variable in decision-making
Lead supplier segmentation efforts to categorize suppliers based on risk and strategic impact, to tailor engagement and risk management strategies
Design and maintain supplier summary dashboards to provide insights into supplier spend and risk metrics
Analyze supplier metrics and gather internal reviews and ratings to enhance visibility and drive informed decision making

Qualification

Required

At least 8 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within a procurement or sourcing environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate analysis into actionable insights and recommendations for business stakeholders
Experience with supplier segmentation and developing tailored sourcing strategies, considering risk profiles as a key segmentation criterion
Proficiency in financial statement analysis (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement), with the ability to identify key financial ratios and red flags
Strong proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Python, SQL, Tableau, Power BI)
Comfortable working in self-directed and ambiguous environments
Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship-building skills
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Data Science or related field
