Responsibilities
Serve as the primary HRBP for all corporate Momentum functions, supporting ~120 employees across Finance, Legal, IT, Accounting, Corporate Development, and Workplace
Report directly to the SVP, Head of Talent, acting as a strategic advisor to senior executives and leadership teams
Partner with leaders to align people strategies with business priorities, offering insight, counsel, and hands-on support across all areas of HR
Operate as a thought partner and culture champion, helping to shape organizational design, team effectiveness, and leadership development initiatives
Design and lead people initiatives and frameworks tailored to Momentum’s unique stage of growth—examples may include career pathing, recognition programs, feedback cycles, and onboarding
Collaborate with the broader People & Culture community across the portfolio to co-create programs, align best practices, and scale shared solutions across the companies
Help define and implement internal communication and engagement strategies to strengthen connectivity across our global and hybrid workforce
Enable leaders and managers to be great people leaders through training, coaching, and performance enablement tools
Support the rollout and continuous improvement of performance management and goal-setting processes, ensuring a culture of accountability and growth
Champion talent planning and development initiatives to help teams and individuals achieve their highest potential
Lead global employee relations with a high standard of confidentiality, empathy, and compliance, partnering with legal as needed
Oversee the day-to-day HR operations in partnership with an HR Generalist, ensuring seamless execution of key moments—from onboarding to exits
Ensure compliance with labor laws and HR best practices across the U.S., U.K., and Costa Rica, adapting approaches to local context while maintaining global consistency
Manage, mentor, and develop two HR Generalists, fostering growth and impact
Serve as the connective tissue across internal and external stakeholders, partnering with executive leadership, legal, finance, and portfolio company HR leaders
Qualification
Required
10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years as a senior HRBP or equivalent supporting corporate or shared services teams
Excellent interpersonal and executive communication skills; able to build trust, influence decisions, and advise leaders with confidence and empathy
Self-starter with proven ability to work hands-on and strategically in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Demonstrated success designing and launching people programs and initiatives in high-growth, values-driven environments
Experience supporting global teams and navigating cross-cultural nuances, ideally including exposure to U.K. and Latin American labor regulations
Strong understanding of HR compliance and employee relations best practices across the U.S. and international contexts
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or related field
Preferred
Experience in a holding company, professional services, or technology environment
Familiarity with Workday (HRM)
Coaching certification or training in leadership development methodologies (e.g., DISC, Hogan, 360s) is a plus
Spanish language proficiency is a bonus, though not required
