InternOakland University is seeking a Summer Student Communication Intern to support the Baby PEACE project in collaboration with the Pontiac School District. The intern will assist in creating communication plans and promote the initiative through various channels including social media and community events.

Help with creating communication/promotion plan for Baby PEACE
Support Baby PEACE Advisory Board with getting the words out about Baby PEACE through initiatives such as organizing town halls, newsletters, video recordings/photos, and social media postings
Any additional communications/marketing tasks as needed/assigned
Qualification
Required
16 years or older
Strong interest in community engagement and connection to Pontiac
Knowledge and experience using social media or other means for communicating/promoting a message
Responsible, dependable, and able to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
Good command of Google Suite
Open to learning new technology
