Responsibilities
Build custom pages and simple modules from scratch in Shopify
Make design adjustments across the site, including promotional updates
Ensure brand consistency while adapting for seasonal campaigns and promotions
Work with developers to troubleshoot and implement design solutions efficiently
Develop engaging, conversion-focused interfaces that enhance user engagement
Optimize landing pages, PDPs, and checkout flows for improved performance
Apply persuasive design principles to improve customer experience and drive sales
Use analytics tools (Google Analytics, Hotjar, Crazy Egg) to uncover user pain points and inform design decisions
Conduct A/B tests and usability research to optimize user flows and wireframes
Ensure accessibility and inclusivity in all designs
Maintain Puffco’s design system for consistency across digital platforms
Partner with developers to implement and refine designs efficiently
Qualification
Required
3+ years in UX/UI design with a focus on data-driven decision-making
Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or similar design tools
Strong understanding of Google Analytics, Hotjar, and A/B testing
Experience in eCommerce UX, CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization), and persuasive design
Hands-on Shopify experience for building and customizing pages
Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS
Ability to solve complex design problems with simple, elegant solutions
Strong communication skills to present and defend design decisions with data-backed insights
