Amazon is launching Amazon Leo, an initiative to provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity through a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites. They are seeking a Corporate Counsel to negotiate contracts and develop legal strategies that support this mission.

Negotiate and draft comprehensive contracts for commercial customers and channel partners, with a focus on mobility engagements
Develop innovative legal strategies that support business objectives while managing organizational risk
Counsel business teams on complex contractual and legal considerations
Create scalable legal processes that enable rapid business decision-making
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support Amazon Leo's global connectivity goals
Qualification
Required
5+ years of legal experience
Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent
Experience in transactional and technology licensing or equivalent
Candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum
Preferred
Experience of a mix of corporate law firm and in-house work
