Logistics Services Consultant
International Mission Board is a long-standing organization dedicated to supporting missionaries in their mission work. They are seeking a Logistics Services Consultant to oversee logistical needs for field personnel, including property management, travel expenses, and legal matters while engaging in community outreach and evangelism efforts.
Responsibilities
Representing Christ to the lost in their community and taking an active part in the accomplishment of the strategic plan of the local team, which includes building relationships with local community members, sharing the gospel, and participating in evangelism and discipleship efforts
Overseeing the purchase or rental, assignment, maintenance, disposal, and appropriate location of property, houses, and vehicles for assigned teams
Approving international travel expenses as specified by policies
Assuming general responsibility for all legal matters and advising assigned teams and logistics team members on such matters
Facilitating the securing of appropriate visas, permits, and other documents related to the geographical area of responsibilities
Directing importation and exportation of both company and personnel's belongings, including freight to/from the field and importation of vehicles
Qualification
Required
Be an active member of a Southern Baptist Church or Canadian National Baptist Convention church
Have a strong commitment to the mission and values of the International Mission Board
Be willing to relocate overseas for an extended period
Have a passion for sharing the gospel and making disciples of all nations
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work and build relationships in a cross-cultural environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Be able to work independently and as part of a team
