Responsibilities

Applying prescribed engineering methods to complete specific portions of broader project assignments under the guidance of experienced engineers
Performing design calculations, plan preparation, material specifications, and quantity take-offs
Adjusting and correlating project data and identifying discrepancies in results through detailed review processes
Exercising limited judgment in selecting and adapting methods, procedures, and design alternatives
Designing system components for integration within overall project layouts
Providing technical direction to support staff or drafting personnel as needed
Collaborating with engineers and project managers to ensure consistency, accuracy, and timeliness of project deliverables

Required

Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
Minimum of 2 years of single-family land development experience required
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships within a team environment

Preferred

Experience with regional design standards and municipal approval processes
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and other civil design software tools
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple project tasks efficiently
