Responsibilities

Installs new software releases, system upgrades, evaluates and installs patches and resolves software related problems

Performs system backups and recovery

Maintains data files and monitors system configuration to ensure data integrity

Expected to recommend and help define policies and protocols that lead to efficient operations and improve the integrity of the systems

Develops and maintains technical documents, including internal policies, procedures and build instructions

May be expected to develop and maintain scripts to automate work and perform it more efficiently
