Orthopaedics- Research Asst. Professor
The University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine, is seeking a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Orthopaedics. The role involves managing research projects aimed at improving the quality of life for children with physical impairments, alongside teaching responsibilities and collaboration with various departments.

Responsibilities
Appointees are expected to have national recognition in their field as evidenced by publications in quality journals and some evidence of leadership as denoted by the first or lead authorship in some of these publications
Appointees are also expected to have presented research accomplishments at national meetings
Appointees will support research activities at the University
Appointees may be required to supervise Research employees and/or nonexempt staff
Appointees will play leadership role in basic and applied research activities and are expected to author, scientific publications, technical and agency reports, or patient applications independently or in collaborations
Qualification
Required
Experience working with multidisciplinary and research in teaching
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work efficiently and independently as part of a collaborative group
National recognition in their field as evidenced by publications in quality journals
Evidence of leadership as denoted by the first or lead authorship in some publications
Presented research accomplishments at national meetings
Support research activities at the University
Supervise Research employees and/or nonexempt staff
Play leadership role in basic and applied research activities
Author scientific publications, technical and agency reports, or patient applications independently or in collaborations
