Responsibilities

Teach fundamentals of real estate, commercial real estate finance, and other real estate and/or finance-related courses
Prepare course materials and deliver lectures to undergraduate and graduate students
Evaluate student performance and provide feedback on assignments and exams
Engage in service activities within the department and college

Required

At the time of application, applicants must hold a master's degree in real estate, finance, or a related field from an AACSB accredited institution
More than one year of full-time or the equivalent in part-time teaching experience as a college instructor
A demonstrated history of high-quality teaching outcomes with regard to course delivery, student learning, grading discipline, and student perception
At the time of application, applicants must hold a doctoral degree in finance or a related field from an AACSB accredited institution

Preferred

Teaching experience in graduate programs
Consulting or substantive work experience in real estate, finance, or the financial services industry
Professional certification such as Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), Member of the Appraisal Institute (MAI), and/or Counselor of Real Estate (CRE)
A record of academic or professional publication related to real estate, finance, accounting, or insurance
