Responsibilities
Implement and manage company, AASHTO, ASTM, and CSA quality standards
Lead and manage QA labs and Quality Specialists' performance
Provide technical support for manufacturing and shipping issues using quality tools like Pareto Analysis and Statistical Process Control (SPC)
Create and manage Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions
Conduct Process Capability Studies and collaborate with Plant Leadership Teams to improve reliability
Ensure 6S standards are maintained in quality operations
Participate in Kaizen Events and implement quality-related daily management
Travel up to 50% to support and evaluate Quality Specialists and plant leadership teams
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Management, Manufacturing, or a related field
5+ years of experience in manufacturing/quality management
Prior management experience
Strong leadership and team-building skills
Proficiency in statistics and problem-solving
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Competency in MS Office and Minitab
Organizational and time management skills
Experience with calibration programs
Mechanical aptitude
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
Ability to work in an office setting and adapt to plant climate conditions
Ability to lift 50 lbs and work safely around plant equipment
