The Florida Panthers, a two-time defending Stanley Cup Champion NHL team, are seeking a Concessions Housekeeping staff member to ensure cleanliness and sanitation in the Food & Beverage areas at the Amerant Bank Arena. The role involves operating cleaning machinery, maintaining sanitation supplies, and performing various cleaning duties after events.

Responsibilities

Ensures concessions stands are properly cleaned and sanitized after every event

Safely operates and maintains all types of cleaning machinery and equipment

Ensures proper use of cleaning chemicals and agents

Conducts building inspections

Performs a variety of cleaning/maintenance duties as assigned including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing, trash disposal, replacing light bulbs and window cleaning

Removes trash from premises

Completes daily work orders as scheduled

Responsible for maintaining the appropriate level of sanitation and cleaning supplies for assigned areas. Maintains assigned equipment in good working condition

As applicable, cleans restrooms, sweeps and mops floors. Refills all dispensers such as hand towels & hand soap. Empties/removes trash. Reports any discrepancies or deficiencies to the manager

Required

Ability to work in an environment with fluctuating temperatures (e.g. heat, cold)

Must be able to perform physical requirement of the position, including lifting up to 50lbs and standing /walking for extended periods of time without sitting

Ability to walk and climb stairs

Ability to quickly and easily navigate the property/building as required to meet the job functions

Ability to climb ladders and work at heights above ground level (maximum 3 ft)

Ability to interact effectively with management and peers

Ability to properly utilize new equipment and follow safety procedures prior to using this equipment

Must possess a positive attitude and strong work ethic a must

Must have a 'team-first' mentality with an eagerness to learn

Strong inter-personal skills; establishing and maintaining productive relationships with fellow workers and supervisors
