Community Care Network is a consortium of health, human service, employment and rehabilitation programs serving the greater Rutland region. They are seeking full time Residential Recovery Specialists to support individuals living with mental health and/or substance use challenges in a residential facility.

Health Care

Responsibilities

Support individuals living with chronic mental illness and/or substance use disorders in a recovery-based trauma sensitive residential facility

Support therapeutic programming

Share meals with the clients

Facilitate medication compliance

Build strong, meaningful connections

Assist in motivating and encouraging individuals toward integration into the community

Qualification

Required

High School Diploma or GED required

Must be able to work 2:45pm – 11:15pm for 2nd shift

Must be able to work 10:45pm – 7:15am for 3rd shift

Ability to demonstrate compassion, sensitivity, and reasoning skills

Able to communicate directly, respectfully, and clearly

Ability to develop a nurturing relationship with clients

Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation with personal automobile liability insurance coverage at or above the levels mandated by the State of Vermont

Successful completion of a criminal history background check after hire
