Sales and Leasing Associate- Commercial Real Estate

Thomas Park is a full-service commercial real estate firm offering alternative investment strategies and third-party commercial real estate services. We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our commercial real estate brokerage team, focusing on business development and client service while supporting senior brokers in transaction execution.

Real Estate Investment

Responsibilities

Proactively identify and develop new leasing and investment sales clients through various channels, including cold calling, networking, online research, and attending industry events
Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients and properties
Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities in the Central Maryland market and surrounding areas
Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to potential clients
Maintain accurate records of all business development activities in CRM
Assist senior brokers with property tours, preparing marketing materials, and conducting due diligence
Draft and review Letters of Intent (LOIs), proposals, and other transaction-related documents
Coordinate communication between clients, attorneys, and other parties involved in transactions
Maintain and update property databases and market information
Prepare market analysis and property valuations
Assist with the closing process, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, or a related field
1-2 years of professional experience
Strong interest in commercial real estate and a desire to build a long-term career in the industry
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
Highly motivated, self-starter with a strong work ethic and a results-oriented approach
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Preferred

Commercial Real Estate experience
Experience with CRM software
Real estate license or willingness to obtain one
