New Grad, Entry LevelEnvironmental Air Systems is a full-service mechanical contractor seeking Pipe Testers to join their manufacturing shop in High Point, North Carolina. In this role, you will use a torque wrench to test steel pipes and adhere to safety rules while working in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities
Climb ladders
Use a torque wrench on up to 700 lbs of steel pipe
Handle material
Work safely and adhere to all safety rules and policies
Work in a fast-paced team environment
Qualification
Required
Reading and speaking proficiency in either English or Spanish required
Minimum of a high school education or equivalent
Ability to speak and read either English or Spanish required
Ability to read a tape measure required
Ability to work independently and on a team
Strong verbal communication skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to stoop, bend, crawl, and climb ladders throughout the shift
Ability to stand and work for prolonged periods of time
Ability to work in conditions of varying heat and cold where noise levels are at or above 90 decibels
Preferred
Previous experience in a manufacturing or construction environment preferred
Ability to read blueprints preferred
