Responsibilities

Perform CT exams for use by physicians in diagnosing and treating patient illness and/or injury, in accordance with departmental standards, policies and procedures

Prepare patients for exam: obtain and record history, explain procedures, position patients and ensure their comfort

Complete all paperwork and submit images to a radiologist in a timely manner

Review CT's to ensure optimum quality

Qualification

IEMA licenseARRT RegisteredAdvanced CT CertificationRadiology certificationCustomer service skillsPatient preparationInterpersonal skillsCommunication skills

Required

IEMA license and ARRT Registered required

Certification or Associate's degree in Radiology from an accredited program

CPR Certification required

Advanced CT Certification required

Previous CT Technologist experience – at least 5 years preferred

Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills required
