They are seeking an experienced Civil Project Engineer III to join their Stormwater Group, where the candidate will perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, assist in stormwater project designs, and communicate with clients and the internal team.
Civil Engineering
Responsibilities
Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses to investigate storm drainage issues and support stormwater management designs
Complete calculations using engineering formulas and skills and/or utilizes computers in order to solve problems with HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, SWMM models
Provide engineering assistance for the design of stormwater control measures, stormwater retrofit designs and other stormwater related projects
Conduct background research on technical issues and write clear reports and memorandums to convey project results to our clients
Assist in the preparation of engineering and construction cost estimates
Participate in field data collection and construction observation duties as directed
Communicate with clients and internal design team as directed by the Project Manager
Qualification
Required
A bachelor's or master's degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related degree
A demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
Must be dependable, responsible, and have good written/verbal communication skills
Must have a valid driver's license
Preferred
5-8 years of water resources engineering including municipal drainage
Proficiency in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling
Working knowledge of CADD software (Civil 3D preferred)
