Responsibilities
Communication and coordination with various parties involved in the transactions to facilitate closings
Preparation of closing documents
Disbursement and Post Closing of files
Conduct closings as allowed by local, state, and federal law and local custom
Clearance of title objections if necessary
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
A minimum of 3 years of previous related professional experience
Extensive knowledge of escrow industry practices, laws, and regulations
Escrow certification may be necessary in some states and necessary continuing education and/or seminars to maintain designations; has Notary Public Certification
Solid knowledge of Escrow Closings of real estate transactions
Experience communicating with all parties to a residential or commercial real estate closing
Proven track record of directing a team of escrow assistants to close high volume while maintaining excellent customer service and a quality and accurate product
Detail Oriented, good time management skills and works well in a team setting
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree and at least 5 years work related experience
