Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and execute electrical engineering projects for our facilities and building systems
Manage project scope, schedule, and budget; prepare reports and presentations to communicate progress
Collaborate with architects, contractors, and internal teams to ensure quality, compliance, and project success
Design and analyze electrical systems for industrial and commercial facilities, including power distribution, lighting, and fire alarm systems
Conduct system studies, load calculations, and layout development while ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards (NEC, IEEE, NFPA)
Evaluate and implement design improvements that enhance performance, safety, and energy efficiency
Prepare engineering drawings, specifications, and as-built documentation using AutoCAD
Support design reviews, technical investigations, and system testing
Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced engineers and contribute to team knowledge sharing
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
Principal Engineer Level: 8–10 years of experience leading complex electrical design and implementation
Senior Engineer Level: 5–7 years of experience managing electrical building systems projects
Engineer Level: 2–4 years of relevant electrical engineering experience
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or ability to obtain within one year
Proficiency in AutoCAD and strong working knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and best practices
Excellent analytical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills with a focus on collaboration and results
Up to 40% travel, primarily to local sites with occasional international travel
