Responsibilities
Develop and maintain edge computing software to enhance real-time data processing and decision-making capabilities on aircraft
Design and implement sophisticated aviation route planning algorithms to optimize flight paths, enhance safety, and improve operational efficiency
Integrate various software and hardware components to create a cohesive system that operates reliably in dynamic aviation environments
Conduct thorough testing and validation of software functionality, ensuring reliability and performance in real-world scenarios
Write high-quality, extensible code that is well-tested and documented
Collaborate proactively with a distributed team to deliver software features using modern middleware technologies
Contribute quality code reviews for internal and external engineers
Identify and fix security vulnerabilities in open-source code
Advance modern, agile, secure software development practices that enhance excellent engineering practices
Qualification
Required
Experience developing edge computing solutions, particularly in resource-constrained environments
Strong background in designing and implementing route planning algorithms for aviation or similar fields
Strong problem-solving abilities and experience with debugging and troubleshooting complex systems
Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, or similar
Develop and maintain edge computing software to enhance real-time data processing and decision-making capabilities on aircraft
