Responsibilities

Design and own metrics end-to-end for quality, speed, and efficiency of content review across AI, human, and hybrid workflows

Draw insights and design ideal automation structures that unlock Cinder’s value for our customers

Guide the foundation of our high-scale, event-driven platform by working closely with our data platform engineering team

Develop QA strategy to monitor and improve the accuracy of human and model reviews

Show our customers what’s working and predict what’s on the horizon: partner with the Customer Success team to advise on strategies to keep users safe

Roll up your sleeves and contribute to our data platform stack

Research, gather product analytics, and suggest product features to improve analytics through experimentation or testing

Present and communicate closely with customers to tell incredibly compelling stories with data

Required

5+ years of experience in a data science role

Experience at a high-growth startup

This is a foundational role. You must thrive in ambiguity, take initiative, and enjoy working across the stack—from data exploration to productionizing models and dashboards

Ability to talk and think through, in detail, the architecture of a data platform — you'll be a consumer of, and a contributor to, our next generation event-driven data platform at Cinder

Curious, resourceful, and action-oriented—you don't wait for someone to tell you what to do

Preferred

2+ years in a client-facing role—experience working with customers is a big plus

Experience building 0 to 1 products and bringing them to market

Experience working for a social media, marketplace, or media company with knowledge of how attackers can abuse these systems
