OSP Project Manager
Farnsworth Group, Inc. is a certified Great Place to Work, seeking an OSP Project Manager to join their Energy & Utility Group within the Telecommunications Team. The role involves managing client relationships, overseeing project design and execution, and ensuring adherence to project specifications and deadlines.
Design
Responsibilities
Manage client relationships and projects
Support development of proposals – including project scope, schedule and budget
Complete design and posting of telecommunications projects
Review projects for accuracy, quality, and adherence to client specifications
Plan and oversee work production to meet project deadlines and budgets
Oversee work completed by technical and professional production staff
Provide direction and support for permit plans and work prints drafted in AutoCAD, MicroStation, Bluebeam, etc
Provide office support for site visits and participate in site visits which may include overnight travel
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 4 years of OSP design experience
Experience in all aspects of Legal Mandate, IFP, Fiber Overbuild, FTTH, or LightGIG projects – including field data gathering, design and permitting
Positive work ethic and excellent communication skills
Ability to effectively manage time while working on several projects concurrently whether in the office or field/remotely
Preferred
Supervisory experience in OSP engineering design or construction
Experience in surveying or utility locating
Experience with AutoCAD or Microstation
Bachelor's or Associate degree a plus
Degree in Engineering or related field a plus
