Responsibilities
Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on production machinery and support systems, ensuring equipment operates at peak efficiency
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and software-related issues in battery production equipment, implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime
Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment, collaborating with engineering teams and vendors as needed
Conduct calibration and performance testing to meet operational specifications and quality standards
Maintain detailed records of service activities, parts usage, and system performance metrics
Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure that equipment complies with local and company safety standards
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to resolve technical issues and provide operational updates
Participate in root cause analysis and suggest improvements to equipment reliability and process efficiency
Qualification
Required
Associate's degree or certification in a technical field (e.g., Electrical, or Electronic) or equivalent work experience
Local electrical license to carry out field electrical works, or the ability to attain one
Minimum 6 years of experience in electrical equipment maintenance or field service
Strong troubleshooting skills for electrical and software systems
Proficiency with diagnostic tools, schematics, and technical documentation
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-tech manufacturing environment
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
Willingness to travel extensively locally and occasionally nationally
Preferred
Experience in battery or advanced manufacturing industries
Knowledge of PLC programming and automation systems
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles
OSHA or related safety certification
