As the Mechanical Engineer, Structures, you will drive the mission to make data universally available by designing satellite structures and mechanisms while working closely with the satellite sub-system teams.

Responsibilities

Work closely with the satellite sub-system teams to design satellite structures and mechanisms
Be a CAD modeling expert (SolidWorks) managing your CAD assemblies and drawings
Develop build documents and drawings for your hardware
Define, build and test your designs from 3D printed engineering units to flight hardware
Support the fabrication assembly and testing of our flight build

Required

At least 3 solid years (non-academic) Satellite experience
At least 5 years of hands-on experience using your CAD skills to develop and build models and drawings
Experience successfully implementing your design solutions in a complex space
Experience with mechanical design to survive extreme environments and challenging mass constraints
Be a CAD modeling expert (SolidWorks) managing your CAD assemblies and drawings
