Responsibilities

Conduct audits of infrastructure environments (operating systems, databases, virtualization, cloud, middleware, unified comms, remote access, etc.)
Evaluate control design and operating effectiveness, providing actionable recommendations
Prepare clear and concise audit reports for senior audit leadership and business stakeholders
Track and validate remediation of open issues, including regulatory and self-identified findings
Participate in continuous monitoring to identify emerging risks in IT infrastructure and cyber domains
Partner with colleagues across legal, compliance, cyber, risk, and IT management to address cross-functional risk issues
Share best practices across audit teams globally and contribute to audit methodology enhancements
Build strong stakeholder relationships outside of formal audit cycles to deepen business knowledge

Required

3–5 years of IT Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, or Application Audit experience within banking or financial services
Working knowledge of risks and controls in platforms, virtualization, cloud (AWS/Azure), and general IT governance
Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory frameworks (e.g., NIST, FFIEC, DFS 500)
Strong understanding of audit methodologies, workpaper documentation, and issue assurance processes
Ability to assess and communicate risks clearly to senior stakeholders
Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to influence at multiple levels
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Finance, or related field

Preferred

advanced degree or certifications (CISA, CISSP, etc.) a plus
