Responsibilities
Spend time with our customers to discover, and understand their underserved needs
Work closely with our Head of Design, Product Managers, and Engineers to deliver simple, elegant solutions, from story mapping through rough and high-fidelity prototypes, and continuous iteration
Deliver delightful user experiences and interactions on both mobile and web
Establish and maintain strong usability standards across our UX on both mobile and web
Be responsible for delivering engineering-ready files to our engineering team in a clean, well-documented format
Help contribute to and maintain the Design System
Be an owner of the work you are responsible for and expected to perform at a high bar
Qualification
Required
High-performing designer with a knack for rapidly iterating on simple solutions to complex problems
Experience in spending time with customers to discover and understand their underserved needs
Ability to work closely with Head of Design, Product Managers, and Engineers
Experience in delivering simple, elegant solutions from story mapping through rough and high-fidelity prototypes
Ability to deliver delightful user experiences and interactions on both mobile and web
Establish and maintain strong usability standards across UX on both mobile and web
Responsible for delivering engineering-ready files to the engineering team in a clean, well-documented format
Help contribute to and maintain the Design System
Ownership of work and expected to perform at a high bar
Product thinker and systems thinker
Curiosity and love to dig into big problems
Deep care about the user and ability to develop empathy for their experiences
Strong UI skills with a belief in simplicity, usability, and delightful creativity
Understanding that Interaction Design is not an afterthought and designing with intent
Experience with both web and mobile, understanding their similarities and differences
Attention to detail
Collaborative mindset and belief that good ideas can come from anywhere
Investment in understanding the problem before jumping to solutions
Clear understanding of process including validating assumptions and seeking feedback
Strong portfolio that demonstrates ability to solve problems and deliver delightful experiences
