Farnsworth Group, Inc. is a certified Great Place to Work and is seeking an Industrial Electrical Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for multi-project electrical design including cleanroom design and process utility systems, primarily in advanced manufacturing and technology markets.

Design

Responsibilities

Prepare accurate Electrical system construction drawings and specifications for submittal review and construction administration
Prepare preliminary schematics through final designs, calculations, equipment selection, and layout
Maintain project design budgets and schedules while pursuing quality
Actively engage in and assume responsibility for code research and application
Interface with other disciplines, clients, and contractors
Coordinate with other production staff

Qualification

Electrical DesignProfessional Engineer LicenseMedium Voltage DesignNational Electrical CodeAutoCADREVITMicrosoft OfficeVerbal skillsCode researchWriting skills

Required

BS in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering
8+ years of related Electrical Design experience
Strong knowledge of medium voltage and low voltage design
Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code
Strong verbal and writing skills
Strong background with Microsoft® Office, AutoCAD, and REVIT
Ability to travel

Preferred

A Professional Engineer License (PE) is strongly preferred
Application knowledge of electrical, building, and energy codes is desired
