Design
Responsibilities
Assume multi-project responsibilities for full Electrical design, including Power distribution, Lighting, and Telecommunications for the healthcare market
Candidate will actively engage in and assume responsibility for:
Code research and application
Fieldwork to ascertain existing conditions
Preliminary schematics through final designs
Calculations
Equipment specification, sizing, and layout
Coordination with other production staff
Preparation of accurate Electrical system construction drawings and specifications
Submittal review and construction administration
Project management for Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing disciplines
Candidate will interface with other disciplines, clients, and contractors and maintain project design budgets and schedules while pursuing quality
This role includes responsibility for mentoring engineers, designers, and drafters
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering
10+ years of professional experience in electrical design
Design experience relative to medium/large commercial, healthcare and institutional facilities
Familiarity with Revit, AutoCAD, BlueBeam and Microsoft Office Suite
Strong team player in a multi-disciplinary environment
Excellent oral and written communications skills
Ability to contribute to several projects simultaneously
Preferred
PE preferred but not required
