Responsibilities

Develop and implement training programs for Model Managers
Establish department standards, workflows, and best practices for Revit model setup and management
Ensure quality and consistency of Revit models across all MEP disciplines
Oversee clash detection processes and reporting for applicable projects
Interface with internal stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve challenging model-related issues
Create and maintain documentation for department procedures
Monitor team performance and workload to ensure timely project delivery
Performs Model Manager responsibilities on projects as needed
Drive efficiency improvements through new processes, technologies, or Revit customization
Evaluate and recommend new technologies or plugins to enhance model management capabilities
Lead a team of developers (who are also MEP engineers) in creating Revit plugins through the use of innovative technologies

Required

Bachelor's degree in engineering, Architecture, Computer Science, or a related field or equivalent experience
Minimum of 6 years of experience with Autodesk Revit
Previous people management or project management experience
Experience developing Revit plugins, macros, or customizations
Background in implementing BIM standards and workflows
Knowledge of interoperability between Revit and other design software
Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel, and Outlook)
Comprehensive understanding of Autodesk Revit, and Autodesk ACC (BIM 360)
General understanding of MEP systems and their representation in BIM
Knowledge and understanding of the concepts and terminology of engineering services
Familiarity with MEP engineering principles and construction documentation
