Responsibilities

Selecting and specifying pump equipment
Preparing equipment proposals utilizing support tools
Responding to customer inquiries regarding company pump related products and services
Communicating with customers via phone and e-mail
Checking availability of stock and verifying ship dates
Processing orders in DXP operating business system
Providing follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction
Knowledge of company policies and procedures

Qualification

Pump equipment expertiseTroubleshooting skillsTechnical guidanceCustomer service orientationBasic software proficiency

Required

3–5 years of experience with pumps and/or rotating equipment
Solid hands-on background in the operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of pumps or similar rotating machinery
Ability to interpret equipment specifications
Understand system performance requirements
Provide technical guidance to customers
Strong customer-service orientation
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Proficient with basic software
Able to manage tasks accurately and efficiently
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Preferred

Familiarity with industry standards and safe work practices
