Responsibilities

Perform layout of printed circuit boards for various applications, including motor control, generator control, system interface, and touchscreen processors
Interface with design engineers to define and execute layout requirements and deliver high-quality, manufacturable designs
Create and manage all library parts in Altium Designer
Integrate Altium projects with Teamcenter (TC) for data management and version control
Generate final manufacturing packages including BOMs, Gerbers, and fabrication/assembly drawings
Provide layout feedback to minimize EMC risk and improve design performance
Define and refine processes between schematic and layout teams to ensure alignment and efficiency
Collaborate with mechanical engineers to meet form, fit, and function requirements for PCB assemblies
Act as the liaison between the electrical engineering team and supply chain stakeholders including procurement and supplier quality
Support Altium and Teamcenter installations and upgrades as needed
Define, implement and ensure adherence to procedures for Electrical Schematic creations
Define, implement and ensure adherence to procedures for Electrical parts within the library
Audit and improve existing parts library to eliminate vendor mistakes
Serve as primary interface between Mechanical and Electrical teams in all areas of board design such as mounting locations, connector locations and board size
Route high speed signals used in the console

Required

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) with 5+ years of relevant experience
3+ years of hands-on PCB layout experience across digital, analog, and power electronics
Proficiency in Altium Designer
Strong ability to interpret and work from electrical schematics
Demonstrated experience with standard PCB materials, multilayer stack-ups, and fabrication processes
Understanding of high-speed signal layout and impedance control techniques (field solver or similar tools)
Experience with matched pair routing for memory or high-speed communication systems
Familiarity with IPC standards and manufacturing requirements
Strong adaptability and willingness to learn new tools and technologies
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced product development environment
