They are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer specializing in HVAC/Building Systems to lead a local MEP team and provide mechanical design services for various facility types. The role involves planning, conducting, and coordinating design phases, presenting to clients, and developing project proposals and budgets.

Design

Responsibilities

Responsible for planning, conducting and coordinating detailed phases of design
Presents design reviews to clients
Supports/assists development of project proposals and schedules
Develops scopes and budget estimates for mechanical discipline work

Qualification

Mechanical EngineeringHVAC Systems DesignRegistered Professional EngineerRevit MEPAutoCADCarrier HAP/Trace 700Microsoft Office SuiteTeam PlayerCommunication Skills

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering
8+ years of experience with Building Mechanical Systems
Registered Professional Engineer License strongly preferred
Design experience relative to medium/large commercial and institutional HVAC systems, including hydronic heating and cooling applications
Familiarity with Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Carrier HAP/Trace 700, and Microsoft Office Suite
Strong team player in a multi-disciplinary environment
Excellent oral and written communications skills
