Global Strategic Sourcing Director, Marketing & Sales

Responsibilities
Build winning relationships with suppliers
Define new and creative sourcing strategies
Lead change with external suppliers and internal stakeholders
Drive the development of best practices for spend categories to leverage global scale
Maximize total cost of ownership savings and enable procurement value contribution
Apply knowledge of business strategy for the North American market
Define sourcing strategies and leverage the supplier landscape
Deliver on regional and country specific needs to contribute to Regional and Global key performance indicators
Regularly interact with multiple key stakeholders at global and local levels
Manage supplier relationships while leveraging global scale
Simplify the spend category to ensure compliance with policies and processes
Manage risk and business continuity
Recruit, retain, develop and effectively empower a team of direct and indirect reports
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in business / marketing or equivalent
Min 12 years of experience in Strategic Sourcing
At least 5 years of Marketing/Sales Procurement or Sourcing experience
Strategic Sourcing and change management at local and global levels across various markets
Demonstrating a future-focused mindset, showing curiosity about industry trends, digital solutions and innovation for consumers and translating opportunities into business strategies
Risk Management and Compliance
Understanding business and financials and how procurement brings financial value to the overall profit and loss statement of the organization
Leading and developing teams in a multi-cultural environment
Organizational agility, influencing stakeholders and interacting effectively with senior leaders based on a deep understanding of business priorities
