Senior Closer - Washington

The Federal Savings Bank is a national, privately held bank focused on residential lending and providing a seamless borrower experience. They are seeking a Senior Closer who will play a key role in the loan manufacturing process, ensuring accuracy and care in delivering homeownership to clients.

Responsibilities

Audit mortgage loan files for compliance inaccuracies according to internal, investor, and federal overlays
Manage a daily pipeline while adhering to strict deadlines
Audit incoming loans to closing, balance Closing Disclosures, and give the green light for closing to occur
Review executed closing packages and coordinate funding authorization with title companies
Serve as a conduit between the closing department, bankers, and analysts to ensure a smooth loan process for the borrower
Communicate with all divisions of the bank and title companies to obtain necessary documentation in a timely fashion
Provide white glove service to bank customers and mortgage bankers by executing best-in-class customer service procedures
Work effectively under specific time constraints
Work effectively both independently and as a team
Operate and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

Required

2-year college degree or commensurate mortgage experience
5+ years of recent Residential Mortgage Closing experience
Experience closing 60+ loans monthly
Demonstrated history of meeting closing deadlines
Working knowledge of Fannie Mae, FHA, VA, USDA and DPA programs
Experience with traditional closings, mail-away, e-Closings
Encompass experience is required
Attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
Flexible with work schedules especially during peak volume and month-end
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and time management skills
Effective problem solver and team player
Desire to grow into a future leader on our team
