Responsibilities
Own and manage one of our core engineering teams of 5-10 engineers, creating a culture of quality, excellence, and growth
Work cross-functionally with product, engineering, sales, finance, leadership, and other teams to execute company goals
Build and grow the roadmap for your team while considering strategic direction, resource allocation, organizational alignment, and more
Grow the team through hiring and internal career development
Qualification
Required
2+ years experience managing and hiring engineers on teams ranging from 5-10 reports, with 6+ total years of experience in fast paced engineering roles
Experience managing a high-performance team of both junior and senior talent in fast paced, startup-like environments
Familiarity with technologies, programming languages, and frameworks, such as Django, Python, React, Postgres, SQL, AWS, RDS, Docker, and Kubernetes
Experience planning team roadmaps and goals as a product-minded engineering leader
Ability to balance priorities, tradeoffs, and cross-functional initiatives working closely with product, finance, engineering and other organizational departments to drive successful business outcomes
