Responsibilities

Lead and grow the existing team of 100+ engineers, data scientists, and managers
Work with the open source community and other data platforms to help the world accelerate its data work with NVIDIA libraries
Expand and build on our efforts to bridge the worlds of traditional data processing and emerging AI workloads
Drive engineering and architectural excellence
Partner closely with product management to ensure enterprise readiness and support

Required

MS, or PhD or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related field
10+ or more years of experience in leading/managing a software development team in agile environment as well as performance sensitive and/or real-time software and customer facing software products
20+ or more years of overall experience in software design, including debugging, performance analysis, and testing designs
Executive experience in collaborating with partner ISVs and platforms
Highly proficient in data, cloud, data science and ideally accelerated compute (e.g. Spark, Kubernetes, Dask, Python ecosystem, and CUDA)
Experience developing platforms or tools for developers
Track record of building high-performing teams and growing leaders
Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead multi-functional efforts
Deep understanding of how to build successful products in large-scale environments

Preferred

Ability to work well with open source communities and foster their growth
Experience with CUDA or other parallel programming systems
Strong understanding of high-performance microservices architectures
Expertise in deep learning, RAG and modern text search, embeddings, or similar AI technologies
