Responsibilities

Production Support – engineering single point for engineering issues in production

Fleet Support – engineering single point for engineering issues in fielded aircraft

DtV Lead – Project lead for DtV – current and future projects / Continuous Improvement

Work closely with all Integrated Product Team (IPT) leaders, their teams, and with SMEs to resolve issues and support the continuous improvement of the aircraft

Support Change Control Boards

Provide technical leadership in root cause corrective action investigations

Work closely with the production team during the integration of updated/new designs launched into production

Provide communication of status to the Chief Engineer, Development Director, Production Director and Sustainment Director

Work closely with Development Director, Production Director and Sustainment Director and their teams as internal customers

Develop and maintain a solid relationship with the customer

Required

Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field or equivalent experience

Experience in engineering tools for CAD, analysis, and system modeling

10+ years of experience in aerospace/defense

Strong leadership and decision-making abilities, with experience managing teams in a fast-paced environment, particularly focused on leading a matrixed team through influence

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges

Adaptability to work in dynamic, high-priority environments with shifting technical challenges

Understanding of design life cycle for design, manufacture, assembly and test principles
