As a Senior Software Engineer (Ground Software), you will develop software components and UI applications essential for the command and control of space vehicles, working closely with Flight Software, Avionics, and Simulation teams.

Responsibilities

Develop intuitive software that enables real-time operation of space vehicles

Design command and control systems

Create simulations to validate system operation

Assist with the growth and development of the software organization, including conducting interviews and mentoring/onboarding other engineers and interns

Required

5+ years of direct, hands-on experience designing and implementing flight software or ground software with a Bachelor's degree in physics, math, computer science, or similar field

Strong coding skills in C or C++

Efficient communication and collaboration skills

Solid understanding of network concepts

Experience deploying software at scale

Knowledge of Agile principles including planning/backlog tools (e.g., JIRA)

Ability to utilize scripting languages: e.g., Python
