Responsibilities

Perform a broad range of scans from basic to somewhat complex (abdomen, pelvic, small parts, pediatrics, musculoskeletal)
Assist physicians in performing procedures, as well as transport medications from the delivery area to an authorized imaging area
Exercise your cultural competency in providing patient education
Maintain a safe environment while identifying and reporting any safety concerns

Qualification

UltrasoundSonographyARDMS certificationBLS certificationHospital experience

Required

High School Diploma or GED required
Graduate of an accredited Sonography program required
ARDMS OB/GYN or Abdomen certification required
BLS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required
A minimum of 3 years of experience as an Ultrasound Tech required
Experience in a hospital setting required
