Responsibilities
Operate CNC machinery and associated software in compliance with safety and production standards
Prepare CAD files for CNC processing and complete initial setup for new or first-run parts
Identify and resolve machining, programming, and setup issues in collaboration with manufacturing, engineering, programming, and documentation teams
Design and implement fixtures and tooling to support efficient machine operation
Review the master production plan and develop a weekly CNC production schedule
Select appropriate cutting tools based on material and machining requirements
Inspect and measure completed parts to ensure compliance with specifications
Document and maintain standardized processes to ensure changes are properly authorized and recorded
Qualification
Required
CNC programming experience with routers or comparable machinery
Familiarity with Router CIM software
Experience using Autodesk Vault and Inventory systems
Ability to prepare CAD/CAM files for CNC machining
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
Experience performing inspections and measurements using precision instruments such as micrometers, gauges, and indicators
