Responsibilities

Sets up, adjusts, and operates surveying equipment, including robotic total station, data collector, GPS equipment, grading and PCCP machine control
Prepares field notes and drawings; and performs field surveying for roadways, bridges, including installing surveying construction stakes and locating or establishing vertical and horizontal control
Maintains field data records, survey project files, and importing/exporting staking files
Proactively upholds all safety polices and standards
Maintains strict adherence to Company policies and procedures
Assumes additional responsibilities as directed

Required

Construction survey experience including understanding of setting form line and grade, joints lines, Machine Control survey for PCCP pavement machines, staking, setting project control points, running levels, experience with Trimble and Leica survey equipment, understanding of plans, machine control models, surfaces, staking building grid lines, footings and wall lines
Ability to set up, adjust, and operate surveying equipment, including robotic total station, data collector, GPS equipment, grading and PCCP machine control
Ability to prepare field notes and drawings; and perform field surveying for roadways, bridges, including installing surveying construction stakes and locating or establishing vertical and horizontal control
Ability to maintain field data records, survey project files, and importing/exporting staking files
Proactive adherence to all safety policies and standards
Strict adherence to Company policies and procedures
Ability to assume additional responsibilities as directed

Preferred

A minimum of 3 years of survey experience with a heavy Civil / Highway construction
A minimum of 2 years of experience with Trimble and Leica equipment
Good communication skills, both verbally and written
Proficient in Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, and MS Outlook Exchange
