Responsibilities
Be a primary driver of structuring and risk management / risk taking decisions across one or more verticals within the Team. Such responsibility will include leading transaction execution across the entire lifecycle (including commercial term negotiation, legal documentation negotiation, internal stakeholder management / approvals, post trade risk oversight)
Innovate with respect to new product development ideally leveraging prior experience in the broader structured finance market
Identify key trends in risk (both from a GS’ and client perspective), and develop mechanisms to manage and monitor such risks
Evaluate the credit, funding, and capital implications of complex structured loans and derivatives
Qualification
Required
6+ years of relevant experience
Excellent communication and organizational skills with a proven ability to advance new and novel ideas
Relevant work experience (e.g., investing, trading, structuring, etc.) ideally across multiple asset verticals with strong grasp of both cash and synthetic products
Detailed knowledge of financial accounting and/or financial analysis
People / project management skills and an extremely strong attention to detail
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Team-oriented and self-motivated
