Transportation Planning Project Manager
Benesch is a growing, multi-disciplined planning, engineering, and professional services firm. They are looking for a Transit Planning Project Manager to lead transportation planning projects, oversee quality control, and mentor staff while contributing to business development activities.

Responsibilities
Participate or lead transportation planning projects for a variety of public agency clients in the South Florida market
Prepare, review, and oversee quality control/assurance for project deliverables
Serve as a liaison with key clients to coordinate Benesch projects and assist in project delivery
Mentor, guide, and develop other staff
Contribute to business development activities such as developing project teams, leading pursuit strategies, and proposal writing
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience in a similar role
Bachelor's or master's degree in planning, Geography, Engineering, or related field
Strong understanding of transportation planning concepts, practices, and procedures. Experience managing multimodal transportation projects is preferred
General project management experience including project staffing, budgeting/cost control, schedule adherence, and quality control
Knowledge of Miami-Dade County, FDOT regulations, policies, and procedures, and/or agency experience a plus
AICP preferred
Strong technical, communication, and writing skills
Ability to identify business needs and opportunities and effectively forge client and teaming relationships
Expertise with Microsoft Office
Preferred
Experience managing multimodal transportation projects is preferred
