Mid LevelUpstate Medical University is seeking a licensed psychologist to provide high-quality care to a diverse outpatient population of children, adolescents, and families. The psychologist will conduct assessments, individual and group therapy, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patient recovery.

Responsibilities
Provide high quality of care to a diverse high acuity, outpatient population of children, adolescents and families in Upstate’s Child and Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Services (CAIOS) program
Conduct psychological assessments, individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy and parent coaching
Provide consultation and coordination of care with schools and outside providers as needed
Contribute to the teaching and supervision of trainees in Child Psychiatry and Psychology
Attend yearly hospital-required performance evaluations and maintain Continuing Education credits
Work closely within a multi-disciplinary, multi-department setting that includes psychiatrist, psychologist, clinical social workers, pediatricians, nutritionist and nursing
Qualification
Required
Ph.D. or Psy.D. and NYS license (or eligible) Psychologist required but must receive license within 1 year of employment
If currently unlicensed, a limited permit is required
Experience working with Dialectical Behavior Therapy required
Preferred
Previous experience working with children and adolescents
Training and experience administering psychological and developmental testing
