Andersen Institute - Economist
Andersen is seeking economists to join its newly launched Andersen Institute for Economics and Finance. The role involves conducting independent and collaborative research on critical economic and business issues, with a focus on macro and micro perspectives, and engaging with policymakers and the private sector.

Responsibilities
Conduct independent and collaborative research and publish findings in research and working paper series of the Institute as well as academic and business journals
Attend conferences, participate in public and private events, engage in dialogue with policymakers and the private sector, and maintain a social media presence
Qualification
Required
PhD in Economics, Finance, or related social-science field
3-5 years of experience in academia or at a policy research institution desired
Excellent analytical skills, keen interest in macro-financial issues
Strong written and verbal communication capabilities - Ability to explain financial topics in clear terms to a non-technical audience is essential
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis upon hire
Andersen will not consider candidates for this position who require sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future
