LaBella Associates is seeking qualified candidates for a Bridge Engineer position in their Charlotte, NC office. The role involves analyzing, designing, and detailing local and State DOT bridge projects under the supervision of senior engineers, along with report preparation and field inspections.

Ability to analyze, design, and detail local, State DOT bridge projects under the supervision of Senior level engineers

Other responsibilities may include report preparation, field reconnaissance and inspection

Attend meetings and conferences when necessary/required

Required

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (with concentration in structural engineering) from an ABET Accredited College

2 to 5 years of experience

PE License

Familiarity with reinforced concrete and steel design

Strong communication and organization skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, such as Word & Excel

Desire to work in a team environment

Preferred

Experience with MicroStation, AutoCAD, SAP2000, Midas Civil, EnerCalc, and MathCAD is a plus

Experience with Charlotte DOT and Charlotte bridge projects and their design software is a plus
