Responsibilities

Write scripts in Spanish and English for our in-game media

Write a variety of player and character facing, world-building ideas and copy that meet the needs of the brief, the voice of the speaker, and the tone of our game

Collaborate with Writing, Design, Art, In Game Media, and other departments to develop a broad spectrum of creative concepts

Proactively review and iterate copy with senior writers, seeing it through to completion

Understand and match the feel of our games and American culture more broadly

Work alongside art directors, graphic designers and illustrators to build comprehensive in-game campaigns

Effectively communicate ideas and design decisions

Qualification

Required

2-3 years of professional experience writing comedy in multiple forms, whether it be in advertising, TV, skits, etc

Solid understanding of current pop culture trends and platforms

Fluent in Spanish

Ability to write for multiple projects quickly, efficiently, and on deadline, while maintaining quality and consistency

Ability to grasp concepts and materialize them into succinct copy that meets the requirements of the brief

Enthusiastically respond to feedback, making requested changes quickly and thoroughly

Preferred

Advertising agency experience as a copywriter

Award-winning advertising work

Other creative endeavors, i.e. stand-up/improv, illustration, animation, etc

A love of video games, film, and entertainment

Bachelor's or master's degree in English, Creative Writing, or related degree; or equivalent professional experience
