Senior Technical Architect
CP Marine LLC is a leader in cutting-edge research and technology in the cyber arena, seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Architect to support the United States Coast Guard. This role involves designing, implementing, and optimizing secure and scalable computer and information networks to ensure mission-critical systems are robust and aligned with operational goals.
Computer & Network Security
Responsibilities
Design and implement complex network infrastructures including LANs, WANs, intranets, extranets, and other data communication systems
Conduct network modeling, simulation, and performance analysis to optimize system efficiency and reliability
Develop and enforce network and computer security measures in compliance with federal cybersecurity standards
Research, evaluate, and recommend hardware and software solutions to enhance network capabilities and security posture
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including cybersecurity, systems engineering, and program management, to ensure seamless integration of network solutions
Prepare and maintain detailed documentation including network diagrams, configuration guides, and security protocols
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and support staff
Qualification
Required
Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise-level networks
Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing, switching, and firewall technologies
Familiarity with federal IT standards and cybersecurity frameworks
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Bachelor's or Master degree
Minimum 6 years of experience
At least 5 years of experience in supporting cloud technology and management activities for Intelligence Community (IC) and other government agencies. Experience must include supporting IT infrastructure operating in Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) IC cloud environments such as IC GovCloud or Amazon Web Service (AWS) Commercial Cloud Service (C2S)
Shall have at least 3 years of Information Assurance A&A experience including assessment of information system vulnerabilities. Contractors performing this task must possess the following: DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level 2 Certification or higher
Must be a US citizen with a TOP SECRET/SCI level security clearance
Preferred
Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, CISSP, or equivalent
