The Senior DSP Architect will lead the design and development of signal processing architectures and algorithms for next-generation physical layer/mixed-signal SoCs, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-performance DSP solutions.

Responsibilities

Define system-level requirements and performance metrics for automotive communication DSP systems
Architect and drive the development of signal processing hardware and algorithms
Design, implement, and optimize signal processing algorithms (e.g., equalization, noise reduction, filtering) for real-time, power-sensitive applications
Ensure algorithms meet automotive reliability and safety standards
Develop models using MATLAB, Simulink, or C++ for performance analysis
Simulate and validate DSP algorithms in both pre- and post-silicon phases
Collaborate with validation and test teams to ensure algorithm correctness and robustness
Partner with hardware engineers, software developers, and systems teams for seamless DSP integration
Contribute to architecture discussions and trade-off analyses across disciplines

Qualification

Required

Master's or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
5+ years of experience in DSP architecture and algorithm design for high-performance, low-power systems
Strong expertise in digital signal processing theory and implementation
Proficiency with DSP modeling tools (MATLAB, Simulink, C++)
Demonstrated experience delivering efficient algorithms in commercial semiconductor products
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to make decisions with incomplete data
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Proactive and adaptable mindset with a willingness to go beyond core responsibilities

Preferred

Familiarity with Ethernet physical layer transceivers
Knowledge of ASIC/VLSI design and implementation
Experience across multiple full ASIC design and NPI cycles
Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation
Understanding of automotive safety standards (e.g., ISO 26262)
