Responsibilities

Seek opportunities for the application of current and voltage transformers for utility and industrial applications

Assist in the customization and configuration of current and voltage transformers for utility and industrial applications

Interpret and analyze customer specifications to recommend appropriate instrument transformer solutions

Provide technical support to sales, marketing, and customers throughout the product lifecycle

Prepare technical documentation, including drawings, datasheets, and application notes

Support product testing, validation, and troubleshooting in collaboration with design and quality teams

Participate in customer meetings, site visits, and technical training sessions

Stay current with industry standards (IEEE, IEC, ANSI) and contribute to internal compliance efforts

Collaborate with R&D and design engineering on new product development and enhancements

Required

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

2–5+ years of experience in applications or design engineering, preferably in the power or utility sector

Familiarity with instrument transformer design, testing, and application

Strong understanding of electrical schematics, power systems, and utility standards

Strong product financial understanding and evaluation skills

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Willingness to travel up to 20% for customer support and field activities

Experience with sensor-based voltage and current measurement technologies

Preferred

Knowledge of grid modernization trends

Involvement in IEEE/IEC/CIGRE technical committees is a plus
